Resources for Veterans

Boots to Business (B2B) is an entrepreneurial education and training program offered by SBA as part of the Department of Defense’s Transition Assistance Program (TAP). B2B provides participants with an overview of business ownership and is open to transitioning service members (including National Guard and Reserve) and their spouses. Classes are at Offutt Air Force Base in Bellevue, Nebraska.

Boots to Business | Reboot provides assistance to anyone interested in exploring business ownership or other self-employment opportunities by leading participants through the key steps for evaluating business concepts and providing foundational knowledge required to develop a business plan.

This program by the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship provides resources and support to veterans interested in pursuing agricultural ventures. Iowa Innovation Corporation (IIC)

The IIC is a non-profit organization that supports economic development and innovation in Iowa. While not specifically focused on veterans, they provide resources, connections, and assistance to startups in various industries.
